APEX® Compounding System (archive)
This course provides training for the APEX® Compounding System to address the ordering and compounding of customized parenteral nutrition.
This course provides an in-service for use of the APEX® Compounding System.
Learning Objectives:
- Provide an overview of the APEX® Compounding System.
- Learn about load cell calibration, selecting and installing the transfer set, confirming source solutions, installing a final container, priming and verifying, pump calibration, manual additions, and filling a dual-chamber container.
- Understand the functionality of the system designed to address the ordering and compounding of customized parenteral nutrition.
