CARESITE® Luer Access Device
This course provides training for the Caresite® Luer Access Device with positive displacement designed to help reduce catheter occlusions while protecting healthcare workers from accidental needlestick injuries.
This training provides an in-service for use of the Caresite® Luer Access Device with positive displacement.
Learning Objectives:
- Overview the method for connection and disconnection of the Caresite® Luer Access Device.
- Learn about proper flushing of the Caresite® Luer Access Device.
- Understand the safety features of the device and proper use.
- Review how to properly open, disinfect and discard the Caresite® Luer Access Device using aseptic technique.
